Project Priority  (Put these in order of most important to least important)

  1. Quality
  2. Time
  3. Money

Problem Solved

Work through the process of transferring Yukon Land to the Federal Government so they could administer those parcels.

Project Communication and Collaboration Summary

Three governments were involved which made the project timelines and crew scheduling a challenge.

Lessons Learned

This community of ~100 people can make accommodation and meals problematic. Booking months in advance can mitigate these issues.

Innovative Approaches and Outcomes

Some parcels were described by Metes and Bounds which were able to be pre-calculated using survey data from previous years. Once more field ties to evidence was completed, the pre-calculated parcel could simply be shifted. This allowed field crews to be confident moving forward posting the parcel without performing those calculations in the field.
