Challenger was contracted by Screwco to deliver surveying support for the installation of screw piles and associated pile caps for pre-built modular homes under ATCO’s Affordable Housing program across the province of Alberta.

Project Communication and Collaboration Summary

  • Challenger completed a detailed review of all IFC drawings, requested clarifications, and laid out all project elements as per required project specifications.
  • We worked closely and coordinated with Screwco, ATCO, and the civil contractor on site to deliver our services as per project drawings and timelines.

 

Lessons Learned

  • Verifying site readiness and final building pad elevations in advance supports smoother pile layout and reduces the need for rework to help streamline project coordination.

 

Innovative Approaches and Outcomes

  • Challenger continued our use of the auto-processing to expedite our daily QA/QC of all work completed on site and deliver project as-built reports.
