Challenger Geomatics Indigenous Scholarships Opportunity

Our Indigenous Scholarships are available to Canadian First Nations, Inuit and Métis students who are interested in a career in Geomatics. Each scholarship is worth $3,000 and is given directly to the awarded applicant (you can apply up to 4 years). These scholarships are for those who have a deep desire to attend a Geomatics program in post-secondary.

Deadline to submit your application is September 15, 2025.

THE SCHOLARSHIPS

This scholarship is focused on demolishing employment and education barriers for Indigenous Peoples. Our goal is to support the development of new skills and educational opportunities within the Geomatics industry. Two students will be selected based on their application to received a $3,000 scholarship to put towards their education in Geomatics.

The scholarship will be paid directly to the recipient by October 31 after evidence of commencement into the program has been provided.

 

ELIGIBILITY

You are eligible for the Indigenous Geomatics Scholarship if you are:

  • A Canadian Indigenous person who is an upcoming or recent high school graduate
  • Enrolled in a Geomatics program within a Canadian school (diploma or degree)

 

APPLICATION CHECKLIST:

  • Official High School Transcript (courses completed, and grades received)
  • Fully completed application form.
  • Submitted before or on September 15, 2025

 

NOTE: This scholarship is not conditional on being hired by Challenger.
